New Temporary Sanctuary Seating Arrangement

(New Widely-Spaced Aisles For Safety During Worship)



Phase 1 Guidelines

Phase 1 – ECRC Opens to small group meetings June 8

Meeting groups will be limited to 10 or less

Only one group to use the facility at any time - meetings need to be scheduled by calling the church office. Please do not just show up with your group!!

Meeting areas will be limited to the fellowship room (10 or less) or council room (4 or less)

Bathroom use is limited to upstairs only

Up to 2 persons can use bathroom at a time

Masks are optional if social distancing is maintained

Each attendee will be expected to wipe down their meeting space, seat, etc after the meeting.

Supplies will be provided

Additional cleaning to be addressed by church staff once per week

Those older than 65 with elevated risk factors to participate remotely

Hand Sanitizer stations to be in the vestibule by June 27, utilizing existing high tables and placed near the entry doors

Phase 2 Guidelines

Here Are The Phase 2 Guidelines That Are Currently In Place

All procedures for meetings (see Phase 1 guidelines) during the week remain in place

All activities are confined to the main floor

Optional In-Person Worship Services have now re-started, and our plan is to continue the in-person services following current government guidelines

The entire congregation is invited to worship together in person at the same time

Those that are older than 65 or that have underlying health issues, or are simply uncomfortable with this option, are encouraged to stay home and utilize the “Live Streaming” on YouTube option

Those that feel ill, have been exposed to someone with COVID 19, or tested positive for COVID 19 should NOT COME and inform Pastor Jeff or an Elder

MASK REQUIREMENTS

Use of masks is required during initial entry and during exit

Masks are not required during the worship service

Those on the stage are not required to wear masks but should maintain 10 foot spacing

ENTRY PROCEDURES

Everyone waiting to get in should wait under car port or in parking lot to maintain 6 foot separation

The main entry doors will be propped open approximately 15 minutes prior to service (no-touch entry)

Everyone will be required to wear masks until they reach their seats

People are strongly encouraged to use the hand sanitizer stations

People will be directed to go immediately to their seats. Please do not loiter in the Narthex

SEATING PROCEDURES

Ushers to use gloves to hand out bulletins and remind people that there should be a seat gap between family groups in order to maintain 6 foot lateral separation. Once seated, masks may be removed for the length of the service

OFFERING PROCEDURES

We encourage the use of the On-line (Faithlife Giving) option that we already have in place

For those wishing to donate during the worship service, Deacons will walk thru the isles (wearing masks) and offerings are to be dropped in the plates (No-Touch)

COMMUNION PROCEDURES

Elders will use gloves & masks while walking thru the isles to pass out elements

Elements are to be handed out to each member the congregation

EXIT PROCEDURES

Ushers will release people row by row to allow people to exit in an orderly fashion

People will be required to wear masks while proceeding directly to the building exit

All Congregational visiting/talking etc., is to take place outside the building, while maintaining a socially distant 6 foot spacing
